BRIE FELNAGLE: Seattle’s 3 Best Runs
With excitement building around this summer’s Rio de Janeiro Olympics, what better time than now for InHealth to feature the Olympic-hopefuls with whom we’re fortunate enough to work? Working with these elite athletes provides InHealth the opportunity to develop and refine the most innovative and cutting-edge approach to treatment, which we then apply to our patients. This is all done with the intent of fulfilling our mission of expanding what is possible for each individual.
This week we feature Brie Felnagle, a professional middle-distance runner representing Adidas. Brie is a former NCAA champion in the 1500 and has competed in the US Olympic Trials in 2008 and 2012 and is looking for a strong showing in this summer’s Olympic Trials in July.
Brie grew up in the Seattle-area and has over 15 years of experience exploring the multitude of PNW running trails. She breaks down her 3 favorite Seattle-area runs below:
“I love this run because it has 10+ miles of wooded rolling trails. Parts of the trail run along a bluff overlooking the sound, making for beautiful views.”
“The 800 meter dirt loop in this park is perfect for workouts. The park is also big enough for regular runs and goes along the Lake Washington beach.”
“A flat, paved run that goes as far as you want it to go. Perfect for going at a quicker pace and just zoning out to enjoy the run. Just watch out for the bikes!”
